Ha ha, yes.
4 X Cree XM-L to give 3200 lumens same as the MagnumStar.
I got 2 large reflectors in like the Trigon, and 2 smaller ones. Wired the LEDs 2 X 2 in series to 2 off the shelf drivers with main diodes uprated to 5amp Schottkys.
Bit of an overkill but they dont even get warm.

The issue was that I could not direct heat sink the drivers as I do in my caplamps, hence the heavy duty upgrade.

It should be a good lamp but I am a bit dubious about the lifespan if the 6 X 18650 Li Ion cells. Cheap and easy enough to replace though.

Why would they want music when they are diving? Surely they have enough gear to carry without a waterproof ipod as well?

so far we have dived ( mine wise )hodge close .rhiback and one out by dinas moudry .there is an other one we are doing on sunday but the location is being kept secret if i get any good photos / vid i will post it if you want it

we looked in to hendre spar and our kit would not fit so when we go back we would have to do it with independent cylinders as apposed to twin sets . there are lots to dive its just getting the kit there . twin set and 2 stage cylinders + the rest of the kit is about 90 kg
