Looks fun, but I bet it'd be a heavy thing to carry around - and pricey if you popped it 😮

Thats the only thing that putting me off really. That and I don't know how stable it would be getting in and out judging by how narrow and tall it is.

I have actually got one of those, but the open version for two people. It is quite heavy due to the extra thickness of the rubber. Great fun for holidays though but wouldn't fancy lugging up any hillside :blink:

Just go to a beach, or mud bath as some are better described as.
You can usually get them from there, though I wouldn't trust them...

I live by the sea and I reckon that the shopkeepers double the price of them. Especially on nice days like today.

Yeah - I've left it a bit late for that. I'll order some on eBay - anybody else want to buy any at £6 before I order them? The postage is the same for 10 as it is for 1.

They come in a choice of Red, Blue or Yellow! Oars not included.

For reference, the one you were boating around in Diffwys in (and the one that tried to drown you on the CRTT) was 78"x48". Anything smaller is probably too wee for a mine explorer 🙂

ye, has anyone ever seen any light weight ones, with wooden seats which in my case also act as supporters.
I think we've got one, last time used in a saline lagoon is east sussex to do survey of salinity etc..
Unfortunatly this turned out rather tragic..
