Might do for a back up. with lights i think you are better off spending a bit more and knowing that its going to work when the shite hits the fan.

I've got one for general use, but they're not particularly robust - I wouldn't be over-keen on it underground for anything beyond a quick nosey in a walk-in passage.

I've had one of these for a couple of years and it's still in one piece. Only used in cars/buses, not underground.

I've got one too, does the job for carting a 70m rope around - just a shame it doesn't have carry straps!

Lidl do one for about £10. LIVARNO Lux
It has a 50m beam for 4 hrs or an Eco one
30m beam 45 hrs. Runs on 3 AAA batteries
Illuminant :Cree LED / up to 150 lumen
It is not water proof
The end rotates to give a wide or long beam.
