The most bizarre flyer has just popped through my letter box announcing the Tavistock "John Taylor Festival - a community project celebrating the engineering, eductional and business achievements of John Taylor....who conceived and designed the Tavistock Canal". This extravaganza includes poetry workshops, a fashion show, a dance event and a heritage pie making demonstration.

Personaly I can't wait to explore Taylor's legacy through the medium of dance.

Having spent a couple nights in Devon in the last year or two, it comes as some surprise that they haven't chosen to celebrate his legacy through the medium of drinking 10 pints of Butcombe & fighting...

"Heritage pie making demonstrations" intrigues me!! Ah just reread it "A heritage pie making demonstration", so it's just the one then!

Presumably the Tavistock cloggers. Now that's an interesting subject.
The past is a foreign country: they do things differently there.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
