a few years ago it was noted that 100 yards from fairbottom bobs coal mine near the coal outcrop there was an eruption of water in the stream bed,rusty water has been welling up ever since,but since the heavy rains last year it has got worse,finaly the powers that be have acted it seems,they have diverted the river away from the gushing water and have just planted a reed bed see pics....
