National Library have uploaded a new bundle of 25" to mile OS sheets for England to A66 taking in the Yorkshire/Lancashire coalfield and the mining districts of the Pennines, North Yorkshire Moors and South Cumbria.

Ever so, slightly, annoyingly it currently stops just south of the bits I would like near Middleton in Teesdale, but I suppose another few months will be worth the wait.

If you happen to have access to OS mapping it has just released it's aerial 3D beta service, so I've just had a good look at the landscaping at the open cut site at Silverband. A small compensation for not having the 25 inch stuff yet.

Off to Pike Law and it's hushes next.
