You are confused. If you are following the thread, follow it, everyone else can. There seems to be only a couple of people out of sinc - guess who. Condemning dodgy checks and sellers yet?

They are for sale at £100 each.... JOKE

Don't put them up for sale, you will be as bad as the others, but amazing to see how easy they are to make and fake.
Ask the other two what they think of them!!!

Thanks for that Simon.... My point here is as a mechanical engineer they are a doddle and with a little knowledge of metallurgy these were too easy... given 2 hours and a Larger number stamp they would have been as good as any of the stamped ones seen... as it is I think my efforts a damn site better in many cases.

Therefore would westmine and deeppit comment and finally condemn these type of fake checks....

PS my checks already Stamped on rear .... FAKE

I think we can safely say that it is surprisingly easy to make a replica of checks and that the phrase 'caveat emptor' should always be at the forefront of any potential purchaser's mind.

[mod]I don't think there's much more that can be added to this thread, hence I shall lock it.

If there are any instances of obviously fraudulent sales on eBay, then please anyone feel free to post them as a specific warning in a new thread. As noted before, anyone who knowingly falsely accuses someone of selling fakes will have their posting rights removed.

We may, at some point, also try and work on a guide to 'the genuine article', although that is a matter for another day. đŸ™‚ [/mod]
