It is with a heavy heart that I must pass on the sad news that Dom Jackson, who some of you will know as Dark Prince on this and other forums (http://www.aditnow.co.uk/profile/?uid=563) died in hospital yesterday. Dom suffered a massive stroke some weeks ago and had remained in hospital since.

Rest in peace Dom Jackson. A truly good person, it was an honour to know you and have so many shared times underground together. You left too early, there are still bunkers and mines to find and explore. You will be sorely missed by many but remembered for so much. 😞

That's really sad news. I'm not aware of having met him but his posts showed him to be 'one of us'.

He was only 41 and far too young to leave us all! 😞

Dom was one of the good guys. A light that shined brightly has gone out far too early.
Hello again darkness, my old friend...

Yes, I'm totally Gutted. He was always a good mate to me since I met him 12 years ago. He was always happy to help and one of life's good guys.

He was the real deal and he went well before his time. An active, healthy bloke, he should have lived twice as long.

Farwell old friend, until we all come and meet you in that great mine in the sky.

Dom was a true gentleman; gone far, far too soon.
