http://rakelane.anduin.org.uk/cal/sites.html Perhaps Roy could outline the financial needs of CAL? At present my impression is that CMT needs financial resources significantly more than CAL - but I could well be incorrect.
I'll reserve my vote until after Roy posts.
Hi Robert, hope you are well
Cave Access Ltd is not a trading company but is legally dormant, and does not hold a bank account. As point of interest, Natural Amenities Ltd is the same, however as CMT hold 50% of the stock and a seat on the board, CMT is meeting NAL's expenses, which so far has only amounted to the legal fees relative to the acquisition of Dinas.
If any expenses arise relative to CAL is likey that they will be met by Cambrian Caving Council. There is an intention for CAL to take on board natural caves if there is a way to resolve access issues by so doing.
Off topic, but I shall likely visit Dinas this weekend and have noted that the 'landowner' Natural Resources Wales closes the car park at night and has a barrier in place. This could be interesting as I intend to stay the night there and apart from the rights that go with mineral ownership, as the car park is a disused limestone quarry its not their car park but NAL's.
;D
