Came across this book in the tourist information/ shop at Loggerheads Country Park, near Mold.

I've not seen it before, but is a good read, with lots of good period pictures, some of which were new to me. Well worth the 4.99 price tag:)

They also had Clwyd Underground, and the 2nd revision of Cris Ebb's Milwr Tunnel in stock too

I've had no luck finding it online so far, but it is a ' A Purely Local Publication' for 'Clwydian Range and Dee Valley', and printed in Chester if that helps!

A related book is The Industrial Tramways of the Vale of Llangollen, J.R. Thomas & D. Southern; Oakwood 2013; A5 format, 72 pages, 85 images; ISBN 978 0 85361 727 3. £9.95

It includes some material on the Deeside Tramway.

(There is a review of the book in the Autumn 2013 Welsh Mines Society Newsletter.)

Yes, that's a great little book too. Some pictures duplicated in this one, but lots of Reg Roberts photos taken in the 1950's, that haven't been published before.

The Courtyard Bookshop in Llangollen is apparently involved with this book, so presumably would be able to supply it and maybe post out to interested parties.....i shall enquire tomorrow

As I stated in my previous post, I ordered the book yesterday (Friday) and it arrived today. That is what I call service!

It is an excellent book containing many very interesting photographs - well worth the £5.00 plus £1.24 postage!
