Well I have uploaded what I have of Wheal Call, now appropriately renamed from "Call", and also Lower Boscean arsenic works. Must take some better pictures I think.
Dickie, you can see the state of the compressor house now, open to the skies!
I think that the Wheal Call site is of particular interest and must be fairly unique in the land of massive steam pumping engines. I fancy that the flat rods would be of heavy timber, rather like the ones underground in Llanrwst (Cornish Captains?), or possible more to do with shaft depth.
