Right chaps we all know what this looks like so we can get that out of the way.

It is just up the hill from Bagshaw Cavern at Bradwell Derbyshire bur I am intrigued as to what it is and if it goes anywhere

I think it's called Cow Hole.

All of the stuff above road level on that side of the Dale is no access. DCA have tried and failed to get permission for cavers/miners to visit the sites in that area.
Not seen the sun for months. Now evolving to see in the dark.

Apart from being called Cow Hole, it's also the top end of what was once Pictor End Pipe, but everything else was filled in or opencast over the last 100 or so years in various efforts to get all the fluorspar left behind by the old man.

PS - I think this should be in the 'Midlands' folder by rights.
