Cobras.......... I'd just got leave of absence and thought I better make the effort as I can see the Edge from my front door!

Anyway I'm game when ever. If its windy I'll bring the kite for some aerials 🙂

Sounds like an interesting trip and I wouldn't mind coming along. Will depend on what date you choose and if I can get my hands of some of the clothes etc.

I went in a mine once.... it was dark and scary..... full of weirdos

What about the oil lamps? Is it necessary to have a Victorian style are are modern camping oil lamps ok?

I went in a mine once.... it was dark and scary..... full of weirdos

I use a hurican style lamp, think mine cost £5 off ebay
I've got plenty of parfin, you can use some of that, saves you having to get some

Lee I think i've seen those small oil storm lamps in the ironmongers really cheap.
The oil would probably cost more that the lamp :lol:

I'm up for an April trip. Life has just been a bit too chaotic recently to even get underground, let me know the date and I'll do my best to be there, especially as I have a new bowler hat to try out.

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.
