Hi Chris it is good to see that you are uplifting a number of plans and illustrations from antique books, for they deserve a wider circulation and discussion than they have.
Although I have trawled the Smallcleugh file I have not come accross a copy of Wallace's perceived 3 dimensional section of Smallcleugh flats yet.
Or is this going to be the grand finale?

As is so often the case with scanned books, the required plate 14 is folded shut in the scan I have !

Sorry to hear that Chris, will try and locate my photocopy and see if I can get someone, who is a little better at uploading these things than I am to let us all see it. It does have interesting features, which hopefully willl initiate discussions.
In the same book is an interesting section of part of the Great Cross Vein, which after seeing it initiated me in a descent of Hind's sump.
This is the first one on the left hand side of the horse level, if you turn left after coming out of Hethrington's Cross Cut, as you head to the Ballroom.
