Back on the bad film track again, there was a sci-fi film released in the 60's (68 ish?) called The Green Slime.
I can remember wading chest deep through something fitting that description but that's another story.
I watched it a couple of years ago after having first seen it in a cinema shortly after its release.
I don't remember it being so bad back then, but I guess tastes and opinions change.
War of the worlds films were good but I still haven't found time to read the book...shame on me 😞

When I was living in Newport Pagnell a few years ago, my housemates and I used to try to borrow the worst video possible from the local video shop. I think I won the title in perpetuity with Prison Ship Starslammer. Rubbish acting, dialogue, special effects, I could go on. Suffice it to say that on the video they advertised the sequel which was never made as the first one was so bad.

Hmm was it as bad as the Dr Who story the Green Death which seemed to be set in abandoned workings.
