Just wondering if there's anyone out there who attended the above trip, or has been there on other occasions, who took any photos around the bottom of the daylight stopes.
This is because of a collapse which has blocked the connection into the adit. The nature of the site makes it not particularly straightforward reopening this and keeping it open for the future, so any photos of what it was like before may prove useful.
The particular location is the east end of the stopes where you went down a slope under the hangingwall to get into the adit.
Although there are quite a few photos available of the mine, I havn't located any of this particular spot.
Anyone who was on the NAMHO trip may remember it is far too many people going down the 27m split pitch at the end of quite a spectacular stope open to day, & exiting by an adit coming out by the Tamar. Some people may have just gone in at the bottom.
