Yup... really, this exists.

I saw it in work today when I was sorting out the new software coming in, and nearly pissed myself laughing, as did my Colleagues that know of my obsession with dark holes in the ground. Much pisstaking ensued at my expense :lol:

I'll play guinea pig, and "review" it for a laugh... it can't be *that* bad... can it? :confused:

Doesn't look very realistic, theres no lads in landrovers and camo gear sneaking over the fence when you've left for the evening.

This one is just a tunneling simulator. I know it says different on the box, but for some reason the mining part was shifted into a simulator of its own:

There're also at least 2 simulators for opencasts around and I just noticed one for offshore oilrigs in the shops.
