Some of you boys still in or attached to the Mining Industry may be able to answer this.

Are Explosives made in the UK anymore

I know of one Smallmine in South Wales has been on stop on several occasions due to lack of Powder,as it had to be imported in from Spain.

There used to be a depot in Hirwaen,that supplied the local mines,but thats gone i hear.

you may find that minimum quantity was a problem for small mines.

EPC-UK (Exchem) are still going.
Don't know if they still sell Permitted's though.
We inhabit an island made of coal, surrounded by a sea full of fish. How can we go wrong.......

Thanks everyone,i`ll pass on the info,as i heard the other day that the Gliesion was on stop again,powder has been a problem there before,but not sure now if its the same problem,
