Having a wander round Smallcleugh this coming Monday with Chris, Redwinch & Son & hopefully Rikj.
Looking forward to a surface walk around the various mines in and around Grosmont too.

Trying to have a nice gentle Christmas but no doubt after one day of inactivity boredom will set in and other plans will be made.

I think Nenthead is as far as I am going, dont want to stray too far off the main road in this weather! Probably Smallcleugh MCSSV or Brownley Hill on Monday or Tuesday.
All depends on severity of hangovers these coming days really 😉

We are at the Folldal Mine in Norway at the moment where it is minus 17 by day and minus 24 by night 😮 Nothing planned for underground as we don't have our kit with us; might get up to the Roros Mines too.

For Alston Moor, you could consult the webcams on the Cybermoor website.

And.....look at the weather station at Howhill

Will do some of the local slate mines. And hoping to do a few long walks on the mountains, weather permiting of course.
Bellach dim ond swn y gwynt yn chwibian, lle bu gynt yr engan ar cynion yn tincian.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
