Good to hear they are being well received :)

There are still around 40 calendars left, and plenty of time to get them posted and arrived before Christmas.

Still around 40 calendars left 😮

I blame the credit crunch. This time last year they had all sold out!

It's now broken even, but as every penny of profit is going to the good cause (nobody takes anything out for production time and admin time) the more that sell the more the good causes get.

39 now

Please remember the price relates to generating a donation to good causes from the print run.

The slight price rise (50p iirc since last year) has been mostly due to Royal Mail's increased charges.

It would have been possible to supply the calendars at or around the cost price, but the feeling seems to have been that it's more beneficial to bring some wider benefits rather than using it as a vehicle to promote the website?

From my point of view from collating the images and words (and again, thank you to those you you who contributed and put up with my endless hassles :flowers: ), I'm happy with the existing set-up and I've been very pleased to see the results of the designer's hard work. And from the point of view of picture quality, I think it may well be the best yet

Mine arrived on saturday at 6.00 posties were working late that day.

I must say it is excellent and will be proud to display it on my office wall . Anyone who hasn't purchased one should really consider it worthwhile not only is it a great product but will support two very worthwhile causes

There are still 20 left, and whilst we've missed the Christmas post now I'll keep sending them out as any more orders come in.

There's 7 calendars left now.

I'll keep the book open on them until the end of Jan, after which it's reasonable to assume not many people will want a 2010 calendar! At the end of Jan I'll total it all up, work out the split of profits and pass the money onto COMRU and KMPS.

It's worth noting that once the calendar is past the point where costs have been covered then each sale is (minus PayPal fees and postage) 100% profit for the good cause. So if the remaining few do sell that's a good few quid more in the coffers for either Cumbria Ores Mines Rescue Unit or the Kelly Mine Preservation Trust.

Oh, and there will be a 2011 calendar as well if the demand is still there! Although it's possibly a bit too early to start thinking about that yet
