I've noticed that a few threads just now have a common theme on location.

I might have mentioned this before I'm sure but there is a very good web site that utilises dynamic OS mapping alongside (literally) Google Earth imagery. The OS goes down to street level.

To give an example the thread referring to Aber shows 2 trial levels which match up very clearly with workings on the aerial image. There is a mouse pointer reference to lat & Long as well as OS grid references.

Thought this might help with any ambiguity in referencing.

Penrhynman brought it (Where is the path?) to my attention some time ago. A very useful tool indeed. I use it in combination with 1:25 000 Memory Map digital maps and OS paper versions. To be recommended, thanks Toadstone. :thumbsup:
