Sadly I don't get to see mine until Xmas day - let's hope my wife was ordered one 😉

Only 20 calendars left now. Please, if you do want one, get your order in quickly to avoid disappointment :flowers:

Once the initial batch are sold out if there are enough people still clammering for one I can look into a second, shorter, print run, but the cost will likely be prohibitive, so it's safer to say once they're gone they're gone!

i think everyone deserves a round of applause for buying one and contributing to two worthy causes and Simon and all involved in taking the pictures and producing another fine calender once again

Cheers

Thanks to everyone involved in making it, really pleased with mine and I know a couple of my club members bought some too and were also very happy 😉

The info provided with each mine was very interesting to get a little background of the places, though I noticed one was slightly out of date...

:offtopic:
There is considerably more of Harnisha Burn Mine now accesable than suggested by the description; we pulled a load of rock out of the first collapse and it's now passable.
Beyond this is plenty more passage and several shafts, including one ladder shaft that connects to the upper levels and some fairly nice workings. You may need to improvise a little with the ladders though...

Thanks for that info, I will probably be heading back in before the new year so look forward to checking it out as I didnt realise it was accessible past that collapse

In my absence (I am now back!), I missed this one!

Calendar is great, huge thanks are due to you, Mr.RL, for producing it and putting up the funds to create it :)

Next batch of calendars going out tomorow, so if you've ordered in the last few days should be with you Friday or Saturday. Sorry for the slight delay, the printer didn't send enough card envelopes but has now made up the shortfall.

Still a fair few calendars left though for anybody who wants one, but they won't hang around for ever...

Calendar received today in excellent condition, photos stunning, Swimbo's highest accolade, well at least its not another old motorbike calendar, praise indeed!!! She also recognised Brewerey shaft, should do as she had been down more than once on our winch, so thanks to all concerned in production and despatch, a credit to all involved.

Thank you everybody :flowers:

How many calenders were printed this year? Didn't you say it was more than last year or did I dream that?

100 copies, same as last year. I did intend that if they all sold early on that I might order a 2nd run, but that was only if the demand was there.

With all the calendars sold, I've been able to tally up the amounts raised for the two nominated causes.

After print costs, postage and PayPal fees the total profit of sale of calendars was £489.31.

Of the 100 calendars sold, 42 people nominated North Wales Cave Rescue and 58 nominated Friends of Cwmorthin.

That means:

£205.51 raised for North Wales Cave Rescue
£283.80 raised for Friends of Cwmorthin (+ £6 in donations over the purchase price)

Cheques will be sent out to the two organisations in the new year.

I'm really pleased that the site has been able to raise this much split between these causes, and it makes the calendar project a lot more worthwhile than if they'd been lining my pocket.

But this would have not been possible without the support and goodwill of everybody buying the calendar, so thank you very much to everybody :flowers: :flowers:

Outstanding
Cracking effort there Simon
I'm sure North Wales Cave Rescue will be appreciative just as FoC will be. Amazing what good a batch of calenders can bring about!
