Ta! Would have missed that otherwise.

Couldn't help thinking they didn't try very hard with their camerawork, some morning / evening sequences would have been nice.

Yeh but the brief interviews with the couple of people who lived up there were worthwhile.
Especially the man who worked in Cwmorthin from the age of 16

Hopefully this should take you to it - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00dy7tg

Its only available for 7 days although you may be able to download it. Cwmorthin is the 1st 10minutes of the program

Cheers Jagman! :flowers:

I'd where some of the archive shots were from - I'd guess Penrhyn or Dinorwic?

I've seen those shots before, the blasted rocks are Dinorwig and the guys using the crane are at Oakeley - or so we are led to believe!

This was half decent viewing, great ariel shots of Barmouth and brief reference to the small mines around Mawdach estuary

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
