Ordered mine today, very excited. Living in the local area and having explored some of the places photographed it will be nice to see how my photos should look as opposed to the low quality I manage!

Was sent to the "Send to" address that you gave - from memory, it was something paternal?

It went out first class recorded delivery with the rest last week (Tuesday?) so if there's no sign, I'll chase it up - I suspect they probably haven't left a "Please collect me" slip...

I believe there are two to be sent out tomorrow (the orders are at work). Due the the postage differing depending on how the books are packed, I'll announce the final total once the final books have been sent out, but it's (currently) in line with expectations :)

There are still, I think, three books available for sale - links above! 🙂

Thanks Vanoord, I wasn't sure which address. I've now found the postie's slip. A certain little four legged "borrower" had made off with it :sneaky: Thanks.

Just spent some time looking through the amended edition. I have to say I'm pleased with the additional text and photo changes.

Thanks to Tony and Simon for allowing their photos to be recorded this way. I am pleased to have been involved in the original concept and hope some funds are raised for DCR.

Great though photos on the web are, they are only as good as the quality and set up of the monitor they are viewed on. A book on the other hand of quality print is very hard to surpass IMHO. So anyone who may be dithering as to whether or not to buy one, go on spoil yourself, hang the expense

Peter.

Apologies to the three of you waiting for copies of Underground Reflections 😞

They'll be posted on Friday - I've been snowed under so far this week (still in the office at the moment) and I'm out all day tomorrow. It's worth the wait though... 😉

Just got my copy in the post (having been away). Congratulations to Vanoord, Simon and Tony for an excellent production. It will encouraged me to do more photography with LED lighting in the future.

Four copies sent out in today's post, sent recorded delivery.

I believe there are two/three more available - order link is above.

I'll confirm the size of the donation to Derbyshire CRO once the last couple of copies have gone.

Thanks for all the positive comment received.

Has anybody seen this month's Descent? There was a possibility (given it's being done for a CRO) that they'd give it a mention if there was any editorial space left.

Good news!

I've sent a cheque to Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation this morning for £135: there's been a slight delay as I spent a bit of time figuring out a way of covering (most of) the postage costs so that they did not have to be deducted from the donation.

A brief breakdown of costs/funds is follows:

Nominal total sales: £650.00
Less cost of books (£513.70): £136.30
Less postage (£71.55): £64.75
Plus postage 'donation' (£70.00): £134.75 (rounded up to £135)

(The credit card charges have also been absorbed - these are not massive, but it's thankfully saved the rather large cut that PayPay would otherwise have taken.)

Thank you to all who have (so far!) bought a copy of the book

******

There are two copies remaining of the book and I'm not sure that I actually require three copies of it myself - so if anyone else wants a copy, I'd be most grateful to have them off my hands!

It can be ordered at this http://www.abcstore.co.uk/AditNow/Underground-Reflections-an-AditNow-Book/p-182-556/

Stick your credit card details into that dodgy looking boat web site* that Vanoord runs and he'll send you one of the last remaining copies :)

* Actually, very grateful to Vanoord for doing it this way, it saves running the sales through PayPal and means each book sale raises a little bit more for Derbyshire Cave Rescue

Just become aware of this book. Would like to buy two copies (one for me and one for National Museum of Wales reference library).

I'm sure you'd sell another print run with publicity via PDMHS, NMRS, WMS, Descent, etc.
