Various goodies on offer this month, starting with...

Fenix TK35

[photo]Personal-Album-2-Image-94045[/photo]

In my humble opinion, one of Fenix's hits in the last couple of years, the TK35 is well-built and has a very decent light output of 860 lumens.

Runs off a pair of 18650s (or 4 CR123s if you really must) and is just about pocketable as long as you've got big pockets!

Good throw, decent enough spread for light-painting and generally a good bit of kit.

Outputs:
- 860 lumens - 1 hour 37 minute runtime
- 365 lumens - 6 hour 48 minute runtime
- 120 lumens - 23 hour runtime
- 15 lumens - 130 hour runtime
- 860 lumens - strobe mode
- 120 lumens - SOS mode

Waterproof to IPX-8 standard, includes holster, lanyard, spare o-ring.

Retail price is £89.95 but...

... special price, including delivery: £60.00 😮

PM me if you're interested.

I too can testify, fantastic piece of kit this, as reliable and powerful as Fenix torches always are...cannot recommend enough-and at that price..you're not gonna get better

Would be tempted to take this offer up myself and get another, if hadn't just splurged out on its bigger brother!

Just a little post to say that despite the TK35 not having headline-beating lumen numbers, it *throws* a serious beam out. What it does is astonishing given the claimed (and totally believable) Lumens.

It walks all over 3x XM-L chinese torches (sorry TurboSteve!). The optics/reflector in this thing has had some serious thought and research put into it, not to mention the driver is probably pushing a full 3A to the emitter.

Far over and above what I was expecting, it puts Fenix very much near the top of my list if I want a pre-built torch again.

A couple of things on eBay:

Fenix LD41
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301263709708

- 4x AA batteries
- 520 lumens max

A useful bit of kit for above-ground stuff as it takes AAs, decent output, even by current standards.

Fenix BT20 bike light

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301266676023

Bought this for shop display. Might be adaptable as a head lamp, but the set up would require a bit of an odd bracket. Probably most suited to fitting to a bicycle!

PowerBank 15 minute charger (used)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291207986380

About £40 when new, just want to clear it out. Used and a few scuffs.

Very quick AA and AAA charger, decent price.

Leopardskin headband?

Is it small? Back-up lights seem to be getting bigger than the lamps they are meant to be backing up!

I want one that's the size of my old Tikka XP but that actually produces light!

HL50 - 360 lumens (in 'boost') off a single CR123A. Also runs on AAs thanks to a trick battery case adaptor.

Design not dissimilar to a Zebralight, ie a tube with the LED on the side.

The light I have is a demo one sent from Fenix, a test of which will be forthcoming shortly...

Ooh that sounds good. Have a Zebralight which runs off a CR123A which would be perfect if it wasn't for the shitty on/off button. Hopefully the one on the Fenix offers somewhat more resistance to breaths of air/falling leaves etc!
