Maybe an interesting link - particularly as the name Granet turns up in it 🙂

I have seen stocks and shares on the web, but very rarely.
There's one illustrated here:

Here's a link to another PDF that might prove interesting - not sure though, my Italian is very rusty these days - it's a long time since I worked on geothermal prospecting in Tuscany.

Google on: SISTEMA MUSEALE SESTRI LEVANTE – CASTIGLIONE CHIAVARES

From the London Gazette from November 27, 1888, I found the company being wound up.

"In the Matter of the Companies Acts, 1862 and
1867, and in the Matter of the Libiola Copper
Mining Company Limited.
A NOT1CE is hereby given, that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the above
named Company will be held at the offices of the
Libiola Copper Mining Company Limited, Dashwood
House, 9, New Broad-street, in the city of
London, on Saturday, the 29th day of December,
1888, at half-past eleven o'clock in the morning
precisely, for the following purposes:—
1. "To have the account of the Liquidator,,
showing the manner in which the winding up has
been conducted, and the property of the Company
disposed of, laid before such Meeting, and of
hearing any explanation that may be given by
the Liquidator.
2. To release the Liquidator and to close the.
winding up.
3. To determine by Extraordinary Resolution
the manner in which the books, accounts and
documents of the Company, and of the Liquidator,
shall be disposed of.
4. "To transact such further business as may
be required."
Dated this 26th day of November, 1888.
William R. Struve, Dashwood House, 9,
New Broad-street, London, E.G., Liquidator"

Here's some more reference data:

Copper mining in Libiola (Sestri Levante)

The oldest archeologically dated mines are the ones for the mining of flint, or better local “jasper” in Lagorara (in the Municipality of Maissana), and for the mining of copper in Libiola, in Sestri Levante inland, and in Monte Loreto, near Castiglione Chiavarese. (for the archaeological events please see the specific itinerary.

The exploitation of this area has been constantly documented between the end of XV century (the Spinola family obtained the licence in 1479), and 1960s. Unfortunately the wide galleries built between XIX and XX century and the consequent destruction of old shafts, did not allow the reconstruction of the different mining stages between the Middle Ages and XVIII century.

The interest for the mine in the Modern Age, starting from the incentives of Savoy administration towards 1840, is instead completely documentable.

In XIX century the production became more and more modern, reaching “industrial” level. The craftmade Ligurian copper mines were replaced by imposing beneficiation facilities. From there the pre-selected minerals were sent to England, where they underwent further treatments. Towards 1870 in Libiola worked about 130 miners, while 50 women were employed to select the minerals.

Mining was flourishing until the first thirty years of XX century. During the second post-war period it entered a crisis. The mine of Libiola was closed in 1955.
