Along with my post on pit ponies on another topic wanting information and stories about pit ponies, I was wondering if anyone had any memorabilia that they would be willing to loan to the education and/or future visitor centre of the Horse charity I work at, Bransby Home of Rest for Horses in Lincolnshire ? We may be looking to buy some if I dont get anything else loaned but I have not asked if I can buy any equipment yet so at the moment its for loan. I have been given a pony headprotector as the gentleman said no-one in his family is interested in its history, even though he worked with the pony in 1946. You can be assured everything would be securely locked up, pictures would be especially good also. Ta Jo :thumbup:
