This is a long shot, I know but I am looking for a copy of 'British Mining No.36 - The Kelton & Knockmurton Iron Mine.

Although I don't have a copy myself, PDMHS recently had a clear-out of their library and put a load of duplicate copies of old NCMRS/NMRS stuff in the shop at the Matlock Bath museum. I'll have a look next time I'm down there to see if this one is amongst them.

last time i was there they had quite a lot of british mining books at the killhope shop dunno if that one was there unless its no longer in print,but on a lighter note im over the moon ive just aquired coal and the coalfields in wales by f j north 1931 (1st and second ed) and the geology of the manchester coalfield by h m stationary office 1931,the latter ive been after for years both very interesting reads.
if its a hole explore it...

I believe I have two copies!!! I will check over the weekend .... need to keep one obviously ... just joined AditNow ... but have been involved with Cumbrian/Pennine exploration for nearly twenty years. Kelton and Knockmurton are dear to me having opened Low Bottom Level, No2 and 4 on "9" Vein and a trial which had no name and now bears mine!

Ahhh Many thanks for that but I actually have sourced a copy thanks to this good forum, but I am now looking for Review No.4 of the WCMRG.. 😉
