Just a quick plug for the Store section of the site, which lurks down there towards the bottom of the left hand main menu.

Mike Moore of Moore Books has recently added some books, both new and rare titles. Worth a look.

The site doesn't make any money from this, it's just another service, hopefully if it works for Mike he'll keep adding/changing the titles. All link direct to the Moore Books web site.

I rather hope he does!

The point I was making (apologies Roy, I know you weren't questioning it) was just in case anybody saw it as the commercialisation of the site, and that I'm not taking money off a fellow enthusiast to show those books in the store.

Hello Chaps,

to save too much debate re the book business yes i do make a profit which is modest much to the frustration of the Tax man. As we are all too aware this is a small community and there are not 1000's queing to obtain the latest Northern Mines Volume. I am a mining enthusiast and see myself providing a service rather than turning a profit - all too often we see over priced volumes available on the net or ebay.
I give an example 4 weeks ago a the Miners Flame lite book sold on ebay for £155 if they had come to me - well i leave you to judge
