MINES HERITAGE WALKS 2014For anyone that may be interested in a walk out on a Sunday to view the old Lakeland / Pennine Mining heritage etc – why not try one of Ian Tyler’s guided Mines Heritage Walk.
All walks are guided by Ian Tyler the mine historian and author of 13 books on Cumbrian Mining.
Decent footwear must be worn along with suitable mountain clothing along with a packed lunch is required. The walks require a degree of fitness as the walks are between 6-8 miles lasting at least 5 hours.
No children under 16 years please.
All walks start at 10.30 am prompt.
A full day out with a cracking guide – for only the cost is £6.00 per person.
