I hope that some members of aditnow can attend the conference. It is possible that we could arrange surface/underground visits to Glendalough and Avoca before or after the conference.

Conference itself won't have any underground events, but could be arranged on a small scale for individuals afterwards. Otherwise the Mining Heritage Trust of Ireland intends to run NAMHO 2016 in Ireland.

I guessed it wouldn't be run in conjunction with the conference but just wondered what might have been in mind, i.e. to see if there was interest to go underground in Glendalough, where exactly that might be.

Just to see if it was somewhere I hadn't visited there really ! If it was, I'd be interested in both conference and underground.

I think waiting until 2016 is a bit of a wait tbh when I can motor on down from Dublin most weekends in the meantime !
