We've finally picked a date for this, will be 16/17 June.

A little later than last year, but it was really difficult to get a date that suited all the people who'd said they definitely wanted to go.

So, let's get some trips planned and then I can looking into a camp site.

Once again thanks to owd git for his help.

Will be nice to meet a few more Derbyshire mine explorers as well this year

Well the date isn't particularly great for me as have a few other things on in June. Should we scrap it with a view to arranging something on the spur of the moment later in the year?

Thanks OG, but its not looking good for most of the people who are down for the trip. Lame excuses like getting married or being on the other side of the world :)

I really want to do a Derbyshire weekend again this year but I think we need to pick another weekend!

Any thoughts on a new date for the Derbyshire weekend?

Rockchick is away at the moment so I guess we'd better wait on her input, but might be worth throwing some dates around?

What would suit people? July? August? September?

It has to be done

Does a September date suit others? Edd? Chris/Rich/Rich/others? Owd Git?

I'll be away for a week in September, but not sure which.
If i'm free i'll be there, stick with September.

I'm away for the last 10 days of September, but then again I believe that Derbyshire may have low ceilings...

15/16 isn't in the last ten days.

Derbyshire mines have vast, huge, vaulted chamber roofs. You'll be fine.

I'm sure I'll be able to attend whatever's happening, should the date eventually get fixed in stone (excuse the pun).

I'll try to meet you this time and not hang around outside the pub while you eat breakfast.

September is fine by me.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
