Found this in a 1960's engineering magazine and thought it might be of interest. I've uploaded it as two JPEGs which are below and also as a PDF, downloadable via this http://www.aditnow.co.uk/documents/personal-album-2/Pelton.pdf

Great - I found this site:

http://www.frenchriverland.com/index.html

When browsing the other week - it has downloadable images of all sorts of turbines and pelton wheels, including manufacturers catalogs - Gilbert Gilkes being represented by at least two! Fascinating if you are into water power technology. Some pages are a bit slow to download because of the all the images, but well worth the wait.

Cheers

Graham
The map is the territory - especially in chain scale.
