Today in a shopping centre in Dublin I spotted Santa prusiking up an SRT rope. He looked very professional and could even prusik back down the rope!. I've uploaded a short video of him in action on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vO9Vx1gxRE

Its clearly an imposter.
You wouldn't catch me prussicking if I had a load of flying reindeer and the same undoubtedly goes for the real Santa, especially after a bellyfull of mince pie and sherry.

You wouldn't catch me prussicking if I... could avoid it!

I would - however - observe that he doesn't appear to be using standard equipment, which may cause some issues if he needs to be rescued...

Hello again darkness, my old friend...
