When the Hulett unloaders became obsolete they were going to be scrapped. World War 3 broke out at this wanton destruction of part of Americas heritage. It started in the 90s and as far as I know is ongoing. Worth a look here if only to see the post card.

Mind you couldn't pop them into a museum.
