There is known to be Uranium in at least one of the Tyndrum veins, although not in useful quantity within the old lead workings.
I wonder if the gold mine will discover an economically viable amount?
The amount of tunneling required would presumably never be viable for base metals, but maybe, having got to the vein structure, in search of gold, it will be viable to extract whatever else is there too?
I wonder where the workforce will come from? A reasonable mining operation might double the population of Tyndrum.
