Quiet week, so just a quick bumble around Cwmorthin.

Meet up at Cwm carpark at around 1815, hop around on one foot getting changed, talk about mines for a bit, then go for a pint and kebab??! See how the evening develops!

Any new faces fancy tagging along, PM me for details.

@Willey: hope we didn't frighten you too much last week, and hope you can make it again? I'll charge up the Oldham for you again or I can lend you a Petzl Duo or something?

See you all there.

Or you're welcome to borrow that spare from me again if you prefer the lightweight option. (Takes 4 AAs ;))

Evening all, Thank you very much for last Thursday, definitely has not put me off ! The oldham was good but a bit on the heavy side. The light weight option sounds like a plan and will come prepared with batteries:lol:. I should be sorted for the week after.

Everyone should lug an Oldham around for a couple of years at least, its character forming.

I did, I remember one of my early trips with WCMS with it, the bulb went and I didn't really notice the difference with the other lights in the group ::)

You know what Sinker's like: he promises the world on a stick (well, kebab and a pint; same thing) but then while we're down there, maybe we have a look here? Finish off something there? Get extra sweaty, cold, tired, whatnot? And oh oops sorry too late for kebabs and pints! We'll miss you but do enjoy your unusually quiet Thursday night! 🙂

You're not allowed in Chester. What terrible deed are you plotting against my kinsmen?
