Ok ok ok!! No more cold, wet, muddy, horrible, ochre-filled metal mines for a while!
Back to slate this week with a little project that needs looking at in Wrysgan.

Meet in Cwmorthin carpark, here:

http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=52.989971&lon=-3.963538&z=17.2&r=0&src=msa

at 1815-ish for a brisk walk up. Willy Eckerslyke is bringing his ladder, I'll bring the drill and bolts, we may need to use the may-pole and if anyone has a magic carpet or can perform an "Indian rope trick" that could be useful too!
What are we hoping to achieve? Lord knows, but it's better than sitting in front of the telly!

Are you trying to stay above ground for an entire month? :o

Count me in! I'll be a much more patient person this week.

I believe the catering department mentioned bringing his stove too!

I was keen to scamper off early last week! This week I'll just enjoy the evening without worrying too much about what time I get to bed.

I might bring my new replica Davy-ish lamp; seems appropriate as Wrysgan seems to be our kit testing ground! :guns:

I certainly hope to be there. Apart from a ladder and drill, do we require any other kit?

I suppose we could do with a few metres of sacrificial rope if anyone has an offcut they don't mind donating.

Ooh thanks. Depends what we find really. 5m will certainly be enough to leave in place of the ladder, and the rest looks a straighforward scramble... but might not be...

Mostly because it is a challenge? Or mostly because it have (not) been done before?

A million apologies but I'll have to duck out of this week's trip. Sinker Jnr's birthday, I can't read a calendar properly, managed to double book myself!

Are you ok for bolting gear/bolts? Call in and pick some up from my place of you need them.

@SimonRL: do you need to borrow my "tool" or is yours now fully-greased?? 😎 😉

It will be a veritable slapstick night with the clapper bridge gone, the arched bridge going, and us trying to carry ladders across! Can anyone bring a piano?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
