Hi everyone ive moved to colwyn bay north wales and i love going down old mines, im new to this and have no ropes or anythink. dose anyone know of any mines around this area that i can go in that i dont need ropes? cheers Adam 😉

I think i found that one yesterday is it a tiny hole at the back of someones garden?

It is behind some houses, but I suspect you looked at the small adit about 50m to the south. This is the entrance to Ogof Dulas.

There are a good 5 or 6 mines on your doorstep that don't need SRT (including Dulas mine).

The guy you want (who has been in them all and will probably be happy to show you) is "Rob" who has the username "Sweetie" on the UCET forum.

Also, the trip organiser (Tony) also on the forum knows them well and it would be easy to arrange a UCET trip to one/some which you could come along on.
