Sorry to be a grumpy old git BUT

The whole of the hillfort under which the Ogof lies is an SSSI.
Did they have permission to use metal detectors there?

It's a reasonable question and I bet I know the answer to it!!

Given the amount of archeological material which has apparently come out of that place, it's surprising that there is still free-access.
