A journey into the unknown this week......especially for me as I have NO IDEA where we are going! :lol: All I know is that it is in the Porthmadog area.....

So I shall hand over to my glamorous assistant, Blober, who has all the details.....

Sadly I'll be busy this Thursday.

All NAMHO conference accommodation and meals have to be booked and paid for by 6pm this Thursday
and so I'll be spending the evening checking the bank accounts and sorting out the data ready to give to Bangor Uni on Friday morning.

I'm not sure if there will be SRT or anything so you can bring it if you wish. Maybe bring bolting kit?

I suppose The Ring or somewhere in Porthmadog will be in order :lol:

Of course 🙂 Always good to see a new face along on a Thursday night.

Please don't expect any epic underground / SRT adventures tonight though. This is a reccee to a small slate quarry none of us have visited before; the book says there were some underground workings but suggests the entrances may have collapsed.

Normal service with epic underground / SRT adventures will be resumed next week no doubt 🙂

Great to see a good turn-out last night, old faces and new! Good to meet you Rostram, you are more than welcome to join us any time. :thumbup: And welcome home to Wyn, come along any time you are free. And a mini farewell to MHSaher, see you in six weeks :(
Odd little mine that, last night. I think I will do a little research and post a thread up later on to see if anyone knows anything about it.
Normal service resumed next week, properly underground with some New Ground and a little SRT. Details to follow when I get five minutes :lol:
