Out and about today to discover some more mines while we are down in Wales, we found the route and adit for Noxon Park mine but hit a blank with Bream mine as listed in Martyn Farrs book even the locals had never heard of it any tips ?? 😞

Just looked the aditnow entry looks about right

Although there are lots of entrances

You should also note that you need a permit from the forest of dean conservation cave and access group

I've never heard of Bream Mine as such. I believe that a lot of the pictures in Martin Farr's book are in Noxon Park as Dave has said. There is also Oakwood Deep next door to Noxon but not only will you need a permit to visit, you will also need a safety lamp and someone trained in its use as the air is bad down there.

All the info on permits and such should be available through FODCCAG (contact details on the RFDCC and GSS websites)

That sounds about right as none of the locals have ever heard of Bream Mine, I shall contact Martyn Farr and see what he says.
