Cwmorthin New Ground, Take 2!

After last week's excellent (so I'm told :angel: ) trip, which half of us baled out of due to last minute problems at work etc, we shall make a return trip to Cwmorthin! :thumbsup:

"Off The Beaten Track" is the theme again, although "Hanging Death" and "Lethal Squeeze" could also be appropriate themes according to Llion 😮

Bring SRT kit, just in case...

The mine is just so awsome.... might bring the camera with me this time see what new artifacts there are!
The fact of a "hanging death" and "leathal squeeze" seem fun, as long as my balls dont get impaled on a nice sharp piece of slate again 😢 .....
Ahhh yes food afterwards sounds good too!

I'm back now so will do my best to be there, Was in Penmorfa (Great Orme) all day yesterday so the missus will probably have a moan but will try my best :thumbsup:

Found a small deposit of iron bearing material in my eye, Ysbyty Gwynedd have quarried it out but unless there is a quick improvement in my vision I won't be able to come.

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.

A tremor measuring 3.8 in magnitude has hit north Wales in the early hours of Wednesday morning.......

That woke me up that did 😠 The whole house shook quite violently just once. Didn't hear any rumbling (although that could have been while still zzzzz zzzz). To be honest the whole thing was about as violent as my flat footed neighbours walking around in their house :lol:

How bizarre....

I was at Stone Science in Anglesey yesterday with the children and the owner, being a geologist, has been recording and plotting earthquakes in North Wales for years, including those brought about by blasting and collapses. He showed me the data for the Llyn Peninsular and predicted that we would be due another any day. That was at lunchtime 😮
I will ring him up and ask for this week's lottery numbers :lol:
