Hi – as the title says one anchor [ the far leg of the y-hang ] Was found to have movement when I de-rigged it – not excessive motion just a little wiggle , It was firm to touch when I rigged

Here is an pic :

And my pathetic attempt at a riggers topo :

UserPostedImage

From right > left [ as I remember it ]

1 – evil rusty spit [ unused ]

2 – huge boulder that I used to back up everything

3 through bolt with peztl hanger

4 unknown bolt – formed the right leg of the y-hang

5 the loose hanger

6 – a hanger @ low level

The offending hanger is Some sort of through bolt with a “dee hanger “ very similar to :

So I suspect a few seconds with a spanner will fix it – plus re-inspect after load

But Having no spanner – there wasn’t much I could do at the time – but now I am home – I can talk about it on the internet – so at least others will be aware

and know to take a spanner

Boulder, rope over bit of carpet, done.

Increased complexity = increased probability of injury.

That's my caving motto.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
