There was an article in the Western Mail 11/02/12 which is available online here:-

http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/2012/02/11/gold-mining-could-restart-in-snowdonia-91466-30308549/

This seems to repeat all that Gold Mines of Wales have said before in the Cambrian and elsewhere. Except that previously they had stated mining would start in 3rd quarter of 2011 later changed to second quarter of 2012. This has now slipped to 18 to 24 months. So, sometime someday then. 😉

On the 17th an article appeared in the Daily Post, although I haven't seen this online. Aagin it refers to mining starting in 18 to 24 months. There is one further significant change. They have been saying they will employ up to 40 local people in as little as 12 months time. This seems to have been "downsized" to over ten people in 18 to 24 months time.

I have now come across this online:-

We now know what the various players in Gold Mines of Wales look like. I especially like the last three photos of Ed McDermott wearing a onesided brand new miners helmet, a lop sided "£3.99" LED lamp and Bermuda shorts over jeans! (what is that about?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
