As of the 10th Dec 2011, the water level has risen around 6 inches and is now back above wellie depth

There has been a stupendous ammount of rain in the area. Hopefully it will dry off again soon and the water level will start to drop again 🙂

As at the 17th Dec 2011, the water level has risen around 2 feet (in one week) and is now 2-3 feet deep at the bottom of the last slope down .... 😞

It has rained an awful lot lately though
