OK ...? Has anyone got a 1:2500 map of that bit... sadly old maps don't let you zoom. regs IC

Ooooh that would have been terrible 😉 ... stuck in a mountainous country with lots of freight trains, high speed trains and a big railway museum.... I'd have coped :devil: :lol:

OK I've uploaded an extract from the 1912 25in OS showing Dorothea. It doesn't show the location of the cableways/chain inclines, however. If I can, I'll add them to it at a later date. Fortunately G.P.Jones' PhD Thesis on the History of Dorothea shows the locations.

Graham... Once again muchos gracia... bet I spelt that wrong...(been with the mexicans today in Birmingham.... strange the one customer I don't wanna friggin meet gets a flight straight away!!! Never did like Iceland!!!!)

Least I have got some decent plans to mull over... 😉
