This must have been pretty big before Burlington cut into the old level, and opened it out....
No relics though, just packwalling, and a collapsed Matt-spedding tunnel at the back. Just in front of the closehead on the pic, is a pit, in which there was once a way into the nearby Klondyke slate mine...
