Hi Peregrine again
Done another trip down Carrock and this time I removed those lager cans. Would like to point out there has been a recent roof fall on the emerson vein which as formed a dam just about half way on, it is passable but the water will be about 3ft deep which could easily be drained with a pick because the material is more like small chippings. We also found a frog which I took a photo of and could feel a draught of fresh air also found plant life from the surface. I would advise to anyone who wants to pass this partial blockage to put up new roof supports before continuing on.This was not there on my last visit when we diid a full trip right through the whole mine. My gas detector shows low oxygen in parts but not dangerously low, but clear for most of it

Probably worth someone having a go at clearing the water - it may be an idea to let someone from CATMHS know?
Hello again darkness, my old friend...

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
