Two are sat on my desk for you Merddinemrys :)

How does about 11am tomorrow at the car park in Croesor sound to anyone? We can probably park a bit closer on the road, but it might be easiest to meet somewhere obvious.

Idea is to have a look at the Moelwyn mines, the tunnel through and whatever other mines lurk on the top of that hill - I think there's at least one other substantial working, possibly a Parc of some flavour?

Dunno - I haven't got the book in front of me: but it's not the Parc lead mine near Betws which has, er, no access.

Indeed! "Collapsed adit" seems to be the phrase, so we'll have to ensure we find enough at Moelwyn to amuse ourselves...

There are two Parc slate quarries. Both are way below the level of Moelwyn/Pant Mawr/Fron Boeth Mines.

Upper Parc is visible either side of the road to Croesor Village, about 300 yards or so before you reach the crossroads at Croesor.

Lower Parc is much lower down the valley. It is visible (or at least some of the tips are) from the road to Croesor down below the road (to left) not long after you have passed Plas Brondanw (also on left of road).

I do not know if either Parc Mines is accessible undeground.
